We have been at the forefront when it comes to publishing literary fiction and non-fiction, having produced works that have won awards not only in Singapore but around the world; and we can distribute local literature across the globe.

We are an award-winning Singaporean publisher that isn’t afraid to turn something humdrum into witty imaginative publications. Providing inventive and radical publishing solutions that affect and delight the reader, we transform the unglamorous sector of corporate literature into some of the most distinct publications out there.

Big, bold and different – if that’s what you want, you’ve come to the right place.

Our trade publishing imprint was started in July 2011 to champion Singaporean literature. With more than 300 titles under our belt across all manner of fiction, our books have won awards both locally and globally.

These award-winning titles include The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye (winner of three Eisner Awards); State of Emergency and Ministry of Moral Panic (Singapore Literature Prize for English Fiction); Once We Were There (Penang Monthly Book Prize 2017); The Gatekeeper, Mount Emily Revisited, Understanding Singaporeans and Now That It’s Over (Singapore Book Awards); and The Rock and the Bird and Where’s Grandma? (Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Awards).

Epigram also runs the annual Epigram Books Fiction Prize, which offers $25,000 and a publishing contract to one winning manuscript every year. In 2016, we opened our London office as a first step to realising our dream — to see a Singaporean book nominated for the Man Booker Prize.
